– Kianoush Mousavi (Prof. Matt Roorda): “Parcel Locker Location Problem with Customer Pickup and Crowd-shipping”


Heider Al Mashalah is a Research Engineer with the Smart Freight Centre at McMaster University. He brings a combination of operations management knowledge and practical experience. His primary research focus is in the areas of supply chain big data optimization and ecommerce last mile delivery.

Kianoush Mousavi is a PhD candidate in transportation planning at the University of Toronto. His PhD thesis is on mathematical modelling of crowd-shipping business models for improving last-mile delivery with a focus on strategic, tactical, and real-time decision-making under uncertainty. Kianoush has also been the project manager for the GTHA off-peak delivery project at Smart Freight Centre. Recently, he joined the Risk Analytics and Optimization (RAO) lab at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) as a postdoctoral researcher.
